RESULT
This role taught me a great deal over the course of the year I was employed. I learned how to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and the extent of the projects, as well as juggle orders with my schoolwork. I absorbed a great deal of knowledge from my peers and applied it not only to work orders but to my classwork as well. I also learned to balance listening to the client and trusting my gut as a designer.
BRIEF
The University of Central Florida's Office of Student Involvement has a Design Group agency (OSIDG) comprised of a handful of student designers who work part-time for the university while enrolled in classes.
WHAT I DID
Other agencies in OSI submit graphic orders to Design Group's webpage to be claimed. As an OSIDG graphic designer, I claimed 2 - 4 orders at a time and completed them promptly and according to the agency's requests.
